My History research topic is going to be about the causes and results of the Mexican war and who started it and why. I have been wanting to do a research about this topic for such a long time and know the opportunity finally came for me to do it so I’m very excited for it. In my opinion it was just one of those wars that could have been easily avoided but they didn’t try to avoid it, and that’s why I want to go into depth of the reasoning of why it happened.

Why did it happen and no one tried to avoid it?

What was the cost of the war financially and in terms of army?
